Cookie & Storage Policy

Last updated 24 July 2026 · Championship Analytics · champ-analytics.com

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party trackers. We store a small amount of data in your browser to keep paid access, remember the workspace you intentionally build, and maintain an optional Connected Leagues session. The optional ESPN extension also uses one short-lived, one-time league-data handoff described below. We count a limited set of usage events through our own site without player, roster, private-league, email, access-token, or free-form data.

1. Excluded tracking

We do not run Google Analytics, ad pixels, cross-site trackers, fingerprinting, or any tool that follows you around the web. We do not sell product activity or use it for advertising. Those events cannot include player names, roster contents, searches, email addresses, access tokens, or free-form text.

2. Browser storage

The items below use your browser’s local storage and remain on the device. The access token is sent to Championship Analytics when the paid board is requested.

3. Connected Leagues session cookie

This cookie is not used for product analytics or advertising. Blocking or clearing it prevents the browser from reopening its anonymous connected identity. Use the Connected Leagues deletion control before clearing it if you want the server-side league data deleted.

4. ESPN extension handoff

If you use the optional ESPN Sync Chrome extension, parsed league data is placed temporarily in Chrome extension-session storage while the extension opens the Championship Analytics confirmation page. The extension deletes that handoff after delivery, rejects it after five minutes, and Chrome clears extension-session storage when the browser session ends. It contains league data only, never an ESPN password, cookie, or session value.

5. Third parties

The site uses these third-party services:

Netlify serves the site and keeps standard, aggregate server logs (for example, request counts) that are not used to profile you.

6. Usage analytics and privacy signals

The notice does not set an analytics cookie. Our usage events are first-party, limited to fixed categories, and respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. You can turn usage analytics off below at any time.

7. Storage controls

Clearing your browser’s site data for champ-analytics.com removes every item above. Note that clearing ca_pass logs you out, and you can restore access any time from Restore access. You can also block storage for this site in your browser settings, though the paid board will not stay unlocked if you do.

8. Changes

If we add anything that stores or shares more than what is listed here, we will update this page and add the controls the change requires before using it.
